Congratulations on your upcoming marriage!

We want you to have a wonderful wedding day. Your marriage is more important than the actual wedding day, so we want to equip you with tools that will allow you to have a successful marriage. Persons desiring to be united in marriage and have their wedding conducted at Evangel Church International should understand our policies.

- Both the bride and groom must be committed, born again Christians.
-They must be in weekly attendance at Evangel Church International for a minimum of six months prior to the wedding.
- Both the bride and groom must attend pre-marital counseling

Ultimately the wedding is not about the ceremony; it's about the marriage. Because of that, we require all couples married by one of our Evangel Church International pastors or designated counselors to complete premarital counseling. The issues that will be dealt with are:

-conflict management
-communication skills
-financial preparation
-future parenting plans
-other areas of concern

This counseling will be done through Life Impact, Inc. The director of Life Impact may decide to partnet with one of their associates to fulfill this requirement. Please call Life Impact, Inc at (305) 953-5433 to schedule your initial counseling appointment.

Once the counseling is concluded, a Certificate of Completion will be issued to the couple allowing them to get their license at the courthouse at a reduced rate. Also a letter of recommendation will be sent to their senior pastor.

Please see the church secretary as soon as possible to schedule your wedding day. Counseling usually takes 4 to 6 months to complete. Do not order invitiations etc. until the date has been confirmed in writing. Please note that the rehearsal will not be conducted until all fees are paid. Pastor's Honorarium: $200.00 (paid to him directly)

Damage Deposit: $100.00 (will be refunded in full if nothing is damaged)

Late Deposit: $200.00 ($100 for the rehearsal and $100 for the wedding ceremony. The late deposit for the rehearsal will be fully refunded if the rehearsal is not more than 15 minutes late. The late deposit for the wedding will be refunded if the wedding is not more than 15 minutes late.)
